Pakistani Websites
December 1, 2007
The good news about being in the year 2007 in Pakistan is that now we have more and more local websites popping up. Businesses and companies have begun to realise the potential of being on the web. It’s hectic and time consuming for people to go personally and check the prices of each product. It’s easier just to go to their websites and browse the products at leisure, even if it’s 2am in the night.
Here are some websites which I find very useful to check prices of mobiles and laptops:
http://www.whatmobile.com.pk
The prices mentioned in whatmobile.com.pk are usually Rs.200 to Rs.400 more or less as compared to the open market prices.
http://www.unitedmobile.com.pk
As United Mobile gives it’s own warranty, the prices are usually more expensive than the open market price.
http://www.mobilezone.com.pk
It’s the same with Mobile Zone. As Mobile Zone gives it’s own warranty, the prices are usually more expensive than the open market prices.
http://www.galaxy.com.pk
Based in Karachi, Galaxy shop has a variety of electronic products e.g. Laptops, Desktop Pc’s, PDA’s, smartphones, Camera’s, mp3 players, Tablets etc. Online shopping is available with countrywide delivery.
http://www.myshop.com.pk
Based in Lahore, MyShop is all about laptops. They have really competitive prices with countrywide delivery.
http://www.lootmaar.com/
Based in Karachi, Lootmaar is a fairly new website. It can easily be called the best Pakistani Ebay-like website. Here people can buy or bid in an auction for the products available, as well as sell their products after verification. As it is still in it’s early stages, the buying and selling is only available to the people in Karachi.
