Opera Mini™ Browser just got better! Beta released – Java Application for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, etc.
April 2, 2008
In my last post about Opera Mini™ (which you can read here) I raved about how good & fast the Opera Mini™browser was. And now it just got even better with it’s new 4.1 Beta release. As this is a Beta release, there might be a few bugs, but it’s so good that I’m now using it as my primary browser in my Nokia E61i.
Update May 2008: Version 4.1 is now out of Beta and a final version has been released!
Now Opera Mini™ opens up websites faster.

Opera upgraded their servers & Opera Mini now receives your requested web pages up to 50% faster. You can now access your favorite websites even faster, with Desktop-like speeds.
While typing URL’s of websites, Opera Mini™ Beta now suggests completions making writing addresses a breeze!

There are a lot of other new improvements too. Read the rest here
Download Opera Mini from it’s Website
Official Website http://www.operamini.com/
You can also download Opera Mini 4.1 beta directly to your phone by visiting mini.opera.com/beta using your phone’s existing web browser & click on one of the links to download Opera Mini.
Note: Opera Mini 4.1 beta will install next to any existing version of Opera Mini on your device & will not overwrite any of your data.

@Veeru
As far as my knowledge is & as far as I’ve seen during my browsing, I’ve noticed that Opera Mini does not support flash websites.
And , unfortunately, I don’t know about any flash players for the Sony Ericsson currently.

1. Opera Mini does not support flash player – Even Opera Mobile only supports flash lite clips.
2. JSR-75 is required to get SAVING/UPLOADING/DOWNLOAD features within Opera Mini. (MOD Edit: Link removed) Install MobyExplorer to check if your phone has JSR-75. As far as I know, all Nokia’s N/E series phones, 6120, 5700, and all s40v3/v4/v5 phones are JSR-75 Enabled – Same for SonyEricsson K750 or later phones (Even K310/K510 are later ones)

@George Johnson
Hi there! Sorry I really don’t know much about Blackberry Applications as I mostly use Symbian phones which are already Flash-enabled. You could check some of the Blackberry Forums about this as they will be able to provide better information about BB Apps.
