Electronic products in Metro Cash & Carry Islamabad
May 4, 2008
This Saturday I went to Metro in Islamabad, and checked out the Cell Phone section. I loved the way they displayed all the cell phones and let people check them out without any worries.
Phones of Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, HTC were available and the prices were extremely reasonable. Most of them had Mobilezone, United Mobile and Advance Warranties.
Nokia 1208 was for PKR.2300 in Metro, while in the open market it is available for PKR.2250. Only a Rs.50 difference.
There were laptops, CPU’s, UPS, printers, scanners, LCD screens, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, televisions, speakers, digital cameras, memory cards, cordless phones, bluetooth headphones, DVD players, music systems, and loads of other products. I really enjoyed shopping there.
So if you have Metro’s membership or know someone who has one, then do go and check out Metro’s electronic sections, as it’s definitely worth a visit.

Its a new idea in Islamabad and every thing availibility and facility is up to the mark. Basically, I am a researcher and tried to find something missing over there but didn’t. every thing is smothly as per the international standard.
but…… registration process and criteria is very vague. they are targetting the wholesellers not the retailer. My registration had been refused due to the reason that i am a student.
As per my suggestion it should be open for all.
Thank You

I have tried to contact you for a whole day to the following Metro telephone numbers
051 4864011 to 4864039
&
051 4864003 to 4864010
But I dont know weather numbers are incorrect or they are not attending any one number from the huge numbers list
or weather PTCL Directory services have no concern numbers in their data base
Please see the matter

@Amir
Dude, I do not work for Metro, so I have no idea what you are talking about.
If you want any information on METRO, go to their website
http://www.metro.pk
Just to help you out, I’ve copy pasted METRO’s address & phone number:
METRO ISLAMABAD
Plot 1-A, I-11/4 adjacent Railway Carriage Factory
Islamabad, Pakistan
Telephone: +92 (0)51 4020006
Fax: +92 (0)51 4864011
By the way…. I just noticed, you have been calling on “Metro Islamabad” FAX NUMBER… No wonder no one was picking up your call
