Nokia E71 a reality! Update: Review & Pictures available. Official announcement expected soon.

After months of hearing rumours and gossip from all corners of the internet, we finally have some good news. The people at boygeniusreport.com luckily got a Nokia E71 and have also reviewed the smartphone! So now we know that it’s real and not a hoax 
The Nokia E71 is the successor of Nokia E61i, Nokia E61 and Nokia E62. It has not been officially announced as yet, but we can expect an announcement any day soon. Lets hope that it won’t be a long wait.
I’m already in love with it
The Nokia E71’s specifications (not official yet) show that it has the same large capacity battery of 1500mAh as the Nokia E61i. It is a Quad-Band GSM EDGE phone with WiFi, GPS, 3.2 Megapixel Autofocus Camera etc.
boygeniusreport.com have done a brilliant job of taking such fantastic pictures. I specially liked how they compared the Nokia E71 with the Nokia N95 8GB in the photographs. Be sure to check out their website for Nokia E71’s review, news and photo gallery for more excellent pictures.

According to boygeniusreport.com the Nokia E71 is noticeably thinner than the iPhone

In the pic above we can see the screen size differences of E71 and N95 8GB
The Nokia E61i and Nokia N95 8GB both have large 2.8” inch screens, this means that to make the E71 more portable, Nokia has slightly decreased the size of E71’s screen. That’s a bummer! I really enjoy the large screen of my E61i (which for me is a must). Well, apart from the screen size drawback, everything else about the E71 looks great. When Nokia E71 will be officially released in the market that’s when we will find out, through user opinions, what the phone is really like in daily use. I’m eagerly awaiting its release & hoping that it’ll be available at a reasonable price

Nokia has officially announced and confirmed the Nokia E71. Expected release is in July 2008.

Yes you can use the Nokia E71 with your Mac computer.

Like any other phone you can ofcourse. The E71 is just like a mini sized computer, not just because it has a keyboard because anything a computer can do so can the E71. Moe

Hi there!
The best phone is the one which fulfills your requirements. So check out the specifications & choose the phone which suits your needs.
If you need a Qwerty Symbian phone then the E71 will do a really great job… And if you need a good Camera phone then go for one of the Nseries like the N82 or N95, etc.

About the prices, you will have to check them in your home country yourself, as the prices change from location to location.

well i have nothins to say about E71 it’s awsome in a word . I used E61 before .the screen size of E61 was larger then E71. E61 doesn’s have camera but E71 does one is main and another one is for 3G video call . Well to compare the Camera of E71 with N73 the E71s camera quality is poor . I used E61 to brows the web .that was good enough but sometime it’s unable open some web page . It says ” unable to open the page ” ” momory full” but the new E71 doesn’t . Sometime i feel like am browsing from my pc lol . Am enjoying ma E71 . I hope you all are enjoying to.
