Nimbuzz Mobile Messenger – Free Application for Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, iPhone, Motorola, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, etc.
I had first tried out the (Beta) Symbian Nimbuzz way back in March 2008, so when the guys from Nimbuzz.com contacted me with the latest update about their free mobile messenger software, I had to try it out again and see what the Out-Of-Beta Symbian version was like.
So what is Nimbuzz? – Nimbuzz is a free mobile messenger and VoIP client for calls, chat, messaging, swapping files on the go, all for free!

Overall, I liked the updated Nimbuzz. It has a very clean, fast interface and I had fun using it
There is also a neat feature of making your own “Nimbuzz Chatrooms”. Some improvement with Battery-Consumption is needed. I also found switching quickly between multiple chats a little tough. Hopefully updates in the future will look into these small hiccups.
Connectivity is with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and 3G as well.

Nimbuzz works with
Skype,
Google Talk™,
AOL Instant Messenger / MobileMe,
Windows Live Messenger / MSN,
Yahoo! Instant Messenger
Jabber,
ICQ,
Myspace,
Facebook,
Gadu-Gadu,
Hyves,
studiVZ / meinVZ,
schülerVZ

Nimbuzz is also one of the first messengers to allow Landscape chatting on the iPhone and iPod Touch!
You can find Nimbuzz in the iTunes App Store
Currently Nimbuzz is available in Java, Symbian S60, Windows Mobile, PC as well as Web versions. Nimbuzz works on around 1000 types of mobile phones worldwide ranging from all the popular devices like iPhone, iPod Touch, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, etc. You can check if your phone is supported here in this list
